freely flowing water

Obviously I have no "water feature" in my humble garden, but I love flowing water as well as my home city, Philadelphia.  Love Park fountain and the fountain in South Square park as pictured below are one of the many parks that have fountains.

later days in May

One of many many bearded irises.  Irises mostly bloom once a year and are just sword-like foliage for the remainder of the year, but I think their blossoms are worth waiting for.

                                                      Pansies keep blooming
I apologize for not posting anything earlier.  Roses have started to bloom again, summer is about here, the weather is warm, I love this time of year.

May begins

I don't know why, but this picture of pansies makes me think of the verse Matthew 6:28  "...consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:" I know these are pansies and not lilies, but I put them in the ground last October, and that was that.  I literally, have not touched them since, and yet all through January, February and March, they kept flowering and now, in May,  they are blossoming with greater fervor. It is a testament to the Lord though, cause he causes the rain, the sun, the cold the heat and these flowers just glorify Him.
